Sunday night, a secret service agent opened fire after he saw 3 people breaking into a unmarked secret service vehicle.
The agents were assigned to protect Naomi Biden while she was out at Georgetown. This is when one agent saw 3 people breaking into the car through the window, though thankfully the car was unoccupied. Upon seeing this the secret service agent opened fire, but no one was shot.
This attack comes after a 98% uptick in carjackings since last year for the DC area. Due to the nature of this attack, officials could not give any more details, but they did reassure that the DC police were investigating.
