Four Canadians were rescued by the Coast Guard near North Carolina after their boat capsized Sunday afternoon.
All four Canadian's were aboard the Moon Dragon and thankfully were found in a raft floating away from the capsized boat 140 miles off the coast of Wilmington, North Carolina.
According to the Canadian's they told the coast guard that their hatches on both the port and starboard side broke, which lead to "catastrophic flooding" and forced them to abandon ship.
As for the Moon Dragon, it is a luxury yacht and goes between the mid-Atlantic to the virgin islands.
As of this morning the Moon dragon still remains partly submerged and the coast guard issued a safety broadcast for any sailors that might be traveling that way in the next few days.
