On New Years, a deadly car crash occurred right outside of a New Year's concert held in Rochester, New York.
This incident is being investigated as domestic terrorism due to the specific situation.
According to the FBI, domestic terrorism is defined as, "involving acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of US or state laws, appearing to be intended to intimidate or coerce civilians, influence the policy of government by intimidation or coercion, or affect the conduct of government by mass destruction, assassination or kidnapping."
At 12:50 A.M., an SUV slammed into another car sending it into a crowd of pedestrians. This caused two people to be killed along with five being sent to the hospital.
Along with this, a fire was ignited due to a dozen gasoline canisters being around the hit car.
The suspect of the crash left a suicide note as well as a personal journal in his hotel room.
