Earlier this morning, eastern North Carolina to southern Maryland issued a tropical storm warning.
Authorities say this storm has the potential to be the next Cyclone. Regardless of how this storm will be classified, meteorologists agree the impacts will be significant.
Intense rainfall has already started in North Carolina and we are expecting this storm to move from Eastern North Carolina late Saturday night, with the effects of the storm weakening as it moves Inland.
We expect the storms main impact to be Friday and Saturday with some lingering impacts of rain and wind on Sunday.
A storm surge warning has been announced which means life threatening flooding is possible within the next 48 hours, and people who live in this area have been warned to watch out for costal flooding, flash flooding and trees that have been taken down by the intense winds.
